Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg is an American actor, producer, a businessman and even a former model cum rapper. In the earlier years, Mark was a front man in a musical band which has released albums like Music for the People and You Gotta Believe. In the later stage of life, Mark transformed his role from being a musician to an actor, appearing in films like Boggie Nights, Three Kings, and Transformers Age of extinction. Mark has been a successful actor in Hollywood for many years and has given some finest films to his viewers.

Mark Wahlberg was born on 5th June 1971 in Boston Massachusetts. In the beginning, he attended the Copley Square High School in Boston but was dropped out at the age of 14. There onwards, Mark got involved in various illegal activities like stealing, hustling and selling drugs. Due to such atrocities, Mark was imprisoned for two years. After spending two years in jail, Mark came out completely as a different personality, who is no more into illegal hassles. At first, he started doing commercial advertising films and then started a musical band which was a huge success. Acting took place in the later stage of life.

Career
Mark’s acting career began way back in 1993 from a Television movie, the Subtitle. After this, Wahlberg made his first big screen debut in Penny Marshal’s film Renaissance man in a small role of a sales man.
Mark has a tremendous screen presence still now and that is the sole reason which had given him an opportunity to play a role in the film Basketball Diaries with Leonardo DiCaprio.
This film again grabbed the attention of many directors and soon he was casted in writer director Paul Thomas Anderson’s Boogie Nights with Burt Reynolds. The film came out with a huge success and Mark made his breakthrough in the industry.
Again in the year 1999, he acted in the film ‘Three Kings’ a story about the aftermath of the 1991 Gulf war with George Clooney, Ice Cube and Spike Jonze.
