Danielle Bernstein is a renowned American fashion-blogger. Known for her blog ‘WeWoreWhat’, Danielle is followed by more than a million followers for her fashion tips.

Danielle was born on 28th of May, 1992 in Great Neck, New York. Danielle rose to fame as the founder of ‘We Wore What’ which became one of the most popular fashion blogs. Danielle started the blog in 2012 while still a student of advertising and marketing communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology.


The blog was started to journal her daily outfits and show her love for clothes but has now turned into a completely functional business. Apart from the blog, Danielle is also popular in Instagram with around 1.4 million followers as well as increasing numbers of fans on Snapchat.

In 2012, Danielle was named as the ‘Next Big Style Blogger’ by Refinery29, which gained her instant fame. She went on to sign with Macy’s and promoted the brand’s in-house labels.


In 2013, Danielle brought on board Next Model Management to handle her contracts. She also collaborated with Estee Lauder to help promote the brand’s Modern Muse perfume.

Diversifying, Danielle has also started to blog about men’s wear and interior design as well and is set to make her blog a lifestyle source. She is also the creative director for Nighty Night, a New York night club.

Apart from We Wore What, Danielle also has an extensive travel blog, titled ‘We Traveled Where’ as well as a popular food blog, ‘We Ate What’.


For managing the blog and her other social networking assets, Danielle is assisted by a small team. Apart from her, an intern and her manager the only other person involved is the professional fashion photographer that comes in to click her pictures once a week for the blog.
