Troian Bellisario is an American actress popular for the former Freeform Hit TV show Pretty Little Liars. On top of that, she is also a writer, director, and a producer much like her parents. She is the daughter of the famous director and producer of NCIS, JAG, and Quantum Leap, Donald Bellisario and the producer, Deborah Pratt. Troian has been active in the entertainment industry since 1988. She has appeared in her father’s film titled Last Rites. Also, she plays minor roles for the series that her father has directed and produced in the past.
She won the Best Acting by a Female Lead Award in 2010 for her role in Consent, which was given by the Vision Fest Award. Aside from that, she has also won the FirstGlance Philadelphia Award for Best Actress in the same year. Her directorial debut was in 2016 for Pretty Little Liars‘ “In the Eye Abides the Heart” episode, which is the fifteenth episode of its last season.

Troian Avery Pratt Bellisario was born on October 28, 1985. She has been a Los Angeleno by birth and has spent the majority of her life in the city. She grew up with the Olsen twins being their neighbor and friend. In fact, she even joined their movie in 1998.
She studied at Campbell Hall School in North Hollywood, California, and spent most of her time studying than going out. In one interview she even admitted that she is so much alike with her Pretty Little Liars‘ character, Spenser Hastings. She did not like socializing with everyone and felt anxious when she had to go to malls. She graduated valedictorian and proceeded to take her degree at the University of Southern California. She finished her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2009.

Donald Paul Bellisario was born on August 8, 1935, in Cokeburg, Pennsylvania. He comes from an Italian-Serbian family and has served the United States Marine Corps from 1955 to 1959 as a sergeant, hence, his inspiration for his creative works. He has a degree in journalism from the Pennsylvania State University. Troian’s mom was his third wife. They got married in June 1984 but unfortunately divorced in 1991.
Mother: Deborah Pratt
Deborah M. Pratt was born on December 16, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois. She comes from an African-American ancestry as well as some French. Her father is Col. Bertram Robertson Pratt and her mother is Geraldine Bryant. Her father, the grandfather of Troian, was the vice president of Pullman Heritage Bank. She and Troian’s father met on the set of Quantum Leap. She was the co-executive producer and the writer for the show. They also worked together in Magnum, P.I., and Airwolf.

Troian got married to Suits actor Patrick Johannes Adams on December 10, 2016, in Santa Barbara, California with a rustic-boho theme. They first met in 2009 for the play Equivocation. They broke up for a short while until Patrick auditioned for the guest role on her show Pretty Little Liars and won her back in 2010. She also plays a guest character on his show, which ironically is an ex-girlfriend of his character, and appears in a handful of episodes.
